A Summer Beyond Ourselves
Summer 2008 is almost here! Most of us are looking forward to a time of relaxation, long awaited sunny days, and the water (need we say more). It is a time to “refresh and regroup.” But for some, inside our walls and community, it is life as usual and that means just trying to survive one day at a time.For this reason, we’d like to invite you to join us in asking, “Where can I make a difference this summer by going beyond myself, volunteering somewhere to just help people?” You might even have a friend, family member or neighbor you’d like to share this pursuit with along the way.
